The Harlem Arts Festival is coming up June 29-30 at the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park. The goal of the Harlem Arts Festival is to fuel the prosperity of our neighborhood, and mark the Amphitheater as a world‐class cultural venue. We are interested in presenting artists across genres — dance, music, theater, and visual arts — whose work contributes to the popular dialogue of the Harlem community.
The festival will feature local music, dance and theater performers as well as visual artists and local business vendors. They are looking for about 40 volunteers to assist them with everything from set up/breakdown to artist management. They are also looking for volunteers who can assist as stage technicians, greeters/info booth/servers, Kids Corner volunteers, Medical volunteers, merchandise volunteers, Artist Liaisons, and builders/runners. On their website they have the complete descriptions of the volunteer expectations, as well as the opportunity to sign-up.
