El Barrio’s Operation Fightback is working in collaboration with People Care, Inc. to offer a free bilingual English/Spanish Home Health Aide Training course. For 4 weeks, from Monday to Friday, 9 AM-5 PM, students will learn how to be a home health aide. At the conclusion of the course, you’ll be certified and may be employed. The classes will be at 413 E. 120th Street, Suite 401.
Students must be New York City residents 18 and older, ready, willing and able to work, and income eligible. Permanent residents must have resided in the United States for at least 5 years. Everyone will also need to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, as well as an exam, application and interview.
